Coach Mike Guerrero, affectionately known as Coach G, is in his 27th year of coaching wrestling for the Evangel Eagles. In that time, Coach G has produced 1 National Champion, 7 All-Americans, 10 City Champions, 8 LHSAA State Champions, and has sent dozens of graduates on to compete at the collegiate level.

Coach G was inducted into the Northwest Louisiana Wrestling Hall of Fame as a coach in 2020.
